Student Life
Jordan provides the opportunity for an exceptional university experience, with the chance to volunteer, enjoy student discounts and be part of a diverse student community.
Student Discounts
Many shops in Jordan offer students special discounts that often range from 10 to 20 percent. And plenty of student-tailored promotions can be accessed through student discount cards, such as ISIC, which allows students to benefit from over 150 thousand promotions.
Before Arrival
After you’ve received your visa, read as much as you can about your destination city and its culture. Prepare a list of who to contact should you need support when you arrive, whether at your university or friends who are already in Jordan.
If possible, make sure you book your flight at least a week before the course start date. This way, you can familiarize yourself with the city where you’re going to study, get accustomed to transport and meet a few of your classmates.
Upon Arrival
First things first, complete your accommodation arrangements and get your course material. Make sure your accommodation, whether it’s in a student residence or private housing, is convenient and well-equipped. Then, have your course timetable ready, make sure there are no conflicting hours, and buy essential materials.
